WANT TO HEAR  MORE?

Eden: a writer and poet from New York.

A wandering mind, lost at sea, in love with seasons and the sky. A singer, actress, and songwriter. A lover of poetry, music, darkness, and the earth. Fan of philosophical discussions, preferably held over coffee or tea. Introvert. Usually found dreaming about colors that haven’t been named or contemplating infinity.
These are my musings, my observations, my dreams and my nightmares. I try to see a bit of magic (whether that’s black magic or fairytale magic) in everything, and my hope is that this bleeds over into my writing.

My dream is to create something that will help many find beauty in this world.

Thanks for stopping by these woods.

About Me

I write poetry and prose, and have participated in writing workshops and programs at Duke University, Alfred University, Columbia University, and with the Adroit Journal.

My work has been published in Polyphony H.S., the Claremont Review, Violet Lit, Navigating the Maze, the Writers' Slate, and more. I have also been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, receiving a total of nine regional gold keys from 2013-2015.

I also have extensive experience with editing, as I am an English tutor as well as the editor in chief of the Canvas Art & Literary Magazine, and I am an editor of the Oracle newspaper.

I have experience with journalism as well, and in addition to writing for the Oracle, I have interned with and written for the newspapers All About Armonk and All About Bedford.

I am influenced by writers like Margaret Atwood, Henry David Thoreau, Sylvia Plath, Allen Ginsberg, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Diane Wakowski, Robert Frost, William Golding, J. R. R. Tolkein, and Pablo Neruda. Writing is my absolute passion and I know I will be weaving words and telling stories for the rest of my life.
